Driver App · Trip lifecycle
This article describes the full route lifecycle in the Driver App.
Initial state
Section titled “Initial state”In route detail, the primary button appears as:
- Iniciar Recorrido (if a vehicle is assigned)
- Sin vehículo asignado (if no vehicle is linked yet)
Trip start
Section titled “Trip start”- Tap Iniciar Recorrido.
- Confirm in the dialog with Iniciar.
- The operation becomes active and shows the En ejecución indicator.
From that moment, live tracking is enabled for passengers.
Active state
Section titled “Active state”While the route is active, the primary button changes to Finalizar Recorrido.
You can also use quick actions during operation:
- Invitar pasajeros
- Generar QR
- Paradas
- Mi ubicación
Trip end
Section titled “Trip end”- Tap Finalizar Recorrido.
- Confirm with Finalizar.
- The app shows Recorrido finalizado. and returns to operational home.
Important validations
Section titled “Important validations”- If location consent is missing, the app requests it before starting.
- If the driver cancels in the dialog (Cancelar), status does not change.
- If no vehicle is assigned, the route cannot be started.
